If you want a box store this is not it. Star cares deeply about her job and works very hard to keep her customers supplied. She has great prices, also the result of a lot of work. After having her feed my horses completely rejected box store feed. Not only horses, but also chickens and goats. I purchased feed from another local co-op and was shocked at the quality difference. Great product and work ethic, my favorite place to go.

To whoever this concerns I rated this place of business one star because of the professionalism . I sincerely went to the feed bin to try and help the mangy parasite infested cat problem. I simply told the lady I was willing to take any kittens so they didn’t add to the population of feral cats who have goopy eyes and thinning hair . She first said she would gather them and call me when she got them . However she never did . The cats would have been altered vaccinated and dewormed and placed into loving homes . I feel like it’s kind of a hoarding situation where she doesn’t want anyone to take her belongings although they are suffering lives medically not to mention being picked off by predators and dogs. She told me this herself. 2 kittens last year were near death . My sister worked very hard to keep them alive .
When I called the lady about them she accused me of vandalising her store . It was an insane accusation and I think was just an excuse to try and stop me from trying to help the kittens . All I want to do is help them have a better and longer life . She is feeding them but the little ones that are in desperate need of medical attention do not receive it . It’s sad and I wish there was more I could do . I wasn’t trying to harm or invade anyone space and I certainly did not vandalize her store . I’m sorry she found me as a threat and wish she could come to terms that there is a problem there .
