Timothy Plus Alfalfa is one of our ideal performance horse blends. Made of a 70/30 blend of timothy alfalfa hay, this blend supplies muscles with slow-release energy during exercise and competitions. Our blend of alfalfa for horses is easy to digest, thanks to the highly digestible nature of timothy and the ulcer buffering property of alfalfa. Like all our blends, Timothy Plus Alfalfa horse feed is high-temperature dried to lock in nutrients lost during the traditional field drying process and to eliminate mold and dust. Bagged for your convenience, our chopped alfalfa hay for horses is less mess for easy travel.
